Yes. Abiie's safety harness is recommended for children below 36 months. They keep them snug and secure in their chairs, protecting them from sliding or falling. This is especially essential when your baby is squirmy, distracted, or tired. 

These straps are also crucial for ensuring an upright position while eating.

Every child is different. With that said, babies are generally ready to sit with a harness when they’re about 4 to 6 months old. This is around the age when they can sit up with minimal support and have good head and neck control.

The 5-point system offers more protection by securing children at the shoulders, hips, and crotch, rather than just at the waist and crotch. This makes 5-point systems best for infants and climbing toddlers, and 3-point systems better for older, calmer toddlers.

Their harness should be snug and firm, yet comfortable enough not to chafe or cause discomfort. You should be able to slip no more than one or two fingers between the straps and your baby’s chest.

Babies typically use five-point harnesses from 6 months to around 18 months or older. Their age can vary. But they should have stable head control before making the switch to a three-point harness. Your toddler may also be starting to climb or require more freedom of movement.

When the chair is not in use, we recommend adjusting the harness so that excess strap length is minimized and secured. Keeping straps properly fitted helps reduce the chance of loose loops and ensures the harness remains ready for safe use during the next mealtime.
